Taught in relation to the other courses, these lectures study in depth contrapuntal, harmonic, structural and rhythmic issues in great works of Western music. The relation between analysis and interpretation is also addressed in these lectures. (A list of the works to be studied this year will be sent to students enrolled in the program.)
