Saeko Takayama placed third in the International Brahms Competition in Poertschach, Austria, in the category of Chamber Music, in duo with pianist Miki Hashimoto.

Sergio Martinoli premiered a solo violin work by Robert Hamilton (Composer '04), written for him during and after the EAMA program of 2004, in Naples, Italy, in Dec. 2004.

Ms. Baczewska performed a solo recital in December 2004 at Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, featuring a World Premiere of "Ballade" by Benjamin C.S. Boyle.
